Tips for a Healthy lifestyles
-Active- Walking has become a popular form of exercise because it is natural, enjoyable & just requires comfortable clothes, good shoes and discipline. Walking help preserve muscle mass while helping you control your weight.
**Be active in any possible way. Not being able to make it to the gym is just an excuse(some activity is better than non).
-Eat- No man made product can match the benefits of foods provided by nature(especially those low in the glycemic index) ex. fruit, vegetables and lean protein.
Do not skip meals but eat very small portions (feeling full should not be an objective when eating).
Stop eating about 4hrs. before going to bed ( at approx. 7:00pm).
-Sleep- In general , adults need at least 6hrs. and children at least 8hrs. of good night sleep.
-Stress- Stress is the enemy of a healthy lifestyle. We can not always change/or get rid of our problems but we can change the way we approach/view them .
Remember the glass may be half full instead of half empty.---in other words, work on a positive attitude. xoxoxo.
